An Answer to the Ellen White Question.

There is so much one could say on this subject so I will be posting a detailed answer to the question on Mrs. Whites prophetic gift in the very near future. For now I will give a few verses to consider. " And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ". Rev. 12:17 "... for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy". Rev. 19:10
This gives 2 identifying marks of Gods last day people. It is important to remember that prophecy is a REAL gift. So many are weary of such things because we are warned of false prophets, and there have been many, Joseph Smith for example. The Bible gives us tests for what a prophet must posses. One of the greatest is this; " To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not acording to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isa. 8:20 In other words a true prophet will agree with scripture and not contridict it.
